"All the Small Things" is a song by Blink-182, from their 1999 album Enema of the State. It was written by Tom DeLonge after his girlfriend Jen Jenkins, who eventually became his wife, complained that he wrote many songs about other girls he knew in his life but none about her. Tom convinced Jen that it was terrible and then it reached number one on the Modern Rock Tracks. The line "She left me roses by the stairs, surprises let me know she cares" actually happened when one night when Tom came home late and his girlfriend had left him roses.
