Alan Lee Shaw is a long time collaborator of The Damned members Rat Scabies and Brian James, contributing to Nosferatu), The Lords of the New Church, and James' solo work, as well as a stint as a full member of The Damned. He is noted for his writing on the album Not of This Earth. He was also a member of punk groups The Rings, with Twink of the Pink Fairies, The Maniacs, and The Physicals.
