Allan Sirois
Allan Sirois (born February 19th, 1975 in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec) is a hockey player.
Playing career
Sirois started his hockey career with stints with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens and the Rimouski Océanic, both members of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, or QMJHL. In his one season with the Oceanic, he got an impressive triple-digit points total of 127. He then graduated to the Worcester IceCats of the American Hockey League(AHL). Sirois only got one point in two and a half seasons of work for the IceCats, and ended up toiling with ECHL teams such as the Baton Rouge Kingfish and the now-defunct Jacksonville Lizard Kings. He would then land a more permanent job in the same league with the Pee Dee Pride of Florence, South Carolina. (Please note that his one-year stint with the Florence Pride is not a change of teams, but a name change by the franchise.) He would rack up fifty points in all but one season, and surpass the 500 point mark for his career before the Pride folded operations in April 2005. He would stay in South Carolina the following season to play for the Greenville Grrrowl. He racked up forty-eight points for the Grrrowl in '06. It is currently known that Sirois will play for the Pee Dee Cyclones in 06-07. The Grrrowl, according to the ECHL website, have also recently folded operations.
