Astral Brands believes in natural beauty. The company, which does business as Astral Health & Beauty, owns three cosmetics and skin care lines that use nature-based ingredients -- Aloette, CosMedix, and Pür Minerals. Aloette's aloe vera-based skin care products and cosmetics are sold mainly through home parties held by Aloette's direct sales network of more than 10,000 consultants in some 40 franchises across the US and Canada. CosMedix is a line of premium skin care products sold only at professional spas, while Pür Minerals' mineral makeup is sold at major retailers such as Dillard's, Duane Reade, and Ulta. All three brands are also sold online and on television shopping channels such as QVC.
