Altamira is a city in the state of Pará, in northern Brazil. It was the biggest municipality in the world once, land size, but the little towns that bordered the city became cities on their own. It is still the biggest in Brazil, though. It is the home of the Territorial Prelature of Xingu. If Altamira was a country it would be the 91º largest one, bigger than Greece and Nepal. And almost of the size of Tunisia and Uruguay.
