Alyse Cynthia Eady, (born March 15, 1988) holds the title of Miss Arkansas 2010 and was 1st Runner-Up in the Miss America 2011 Pageant on January 15, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.[1] She is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Speech Communication. She competed at Miss Arkansas as Miss South Central Arkansas and also won a Preliminary Talent Award and the Coleman Overall Talent Award at the pageant. Her platform is the Boys and Girls Club of America and her talent is a Variety Act, in which she both sings and does ventriloquism to the song "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart."[2] She also held the title of Miss Teen Arkansas-America 2004, which is now known as Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen.[3] She performed her current talent as a special guest during one of the Preliminary Competitions at Miss America 2007 as well as her yodeling abilities.[4] Alyse currently works as a local morning news show anchor for Today's THV Channel 11, the CBS affiliate station in Little Rock, Arkansas.[5]
