amagat

An amagat is a unit of number density. It is defined as the number of ideal gas particles per unit volume at 1 atm (= 101325 Pa) and 273.15 K [1]. It is named after Emile Amagat, who also has Amagat's law named after him. The abbvreviated form of amagat is "amg."

number density in amg = ρ/ρ0

ρ0 = 1 amg = 2.6868×1019 particles per cm3 = 44.615 moles per m3
