(physics) A unit of density in the Amagat system, used in the study of the behavior of gases under pressure; it is equal to the density of a gas at a pressure of 1 atmosphere and a temperature of 0°C; for an ideal gas this is 44.6148 ± 0.0004 moles per cubic meter.
