Amalgamated Life Insurance has combined a variety of life insurance products and services to aid the working man and woman. The company provides life insurance, retirement plans, voluntary benefits, and other products to members of some 30 different labor unions and other moderate income individuals. In addition to its group and individual products (life, accident, and disability), Amalgamated Life Insurance and its affiliates offer third party administration (TPA) and medical cost management to self-insured groups. The company is licensed in over 40 states and has offices nationwide. It provides coverage to some 800,000 customers.
