The Amarna Royal Tombs Project (ARTP) is an archaeological expedition set up in 1998 to investigate on the ground and in the records the fate of the missing Amarna royal dead transferred on the abandonment of El-Amarna to the Valley of the Kings during the reign of Tutankhamun. ARTP's director is Nicholas Reeves.
