This A&E program clearly indicates that Hawaii and Puerto Rico have their share of impressive mansions and estates. Hawaii's Iolani Palace in Honolulu continued to serve as a royal residence until 1893. Its American Florentine style still appeals to many visitors who walk through its hallways today admiring the artful vases, paintings, and numerous historical displays. Viewers will also see the Spanish-style mansion known as the Serralles Castle in Puerto Rico that still draws many tourists each year. It offers a striking view of the surrounding city and the sea. Puerto Rico is also the home to La Fortaleza, a handsome estate surrounding by colorful garden areas. ~ Elizabeth Smith, Rovi
