A&E's America's Castles allows viewers to explore the stately homes of Presidents Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren, and Rutherford B. Hayes. Jackson's Hermitage estate, located near Nashville, was known for its tasteful Greek Revival mansion. Today, it displays many of his personal belongings including his Bible, eyeglasses, and large collection of books. Rutherford B. Hayes' Spiegel Grove estate, in Fremont, OH, now contains not only the Hayes' home, but also his presidential library and museum. Lastly, the program reveals the antiques and other special treasures that can still be seen inside Martin Van Buren's mansion in the Hudson Valley. ~ Elizabeth Smith, Rovi
