George Vanderbilt's Biltmore estate near Asheville, NC, is a breathtaking mansion set on extensive grounds. This A&E tour takes viewers to see this home that sits on 125,000 acres of highly landscaped gardens and forest areas. The outer gardens, landscaped by Frederick Law Olmstead, are as striking as the interior, which is filled with thousands of furnishings and a number of valuable antiques. In this program, viewers will see these amenities, as well as the huge indoor swimming pool and multiple kitchens, fireplaces, and ornate bedrooms.
