Maintaining business growth should be as easy as 1,2,3 for members of ABC. The American Business Conference represents the interests of midsize, rapid-growth companies by lobbying for growth-oriented public policies and a higher standard of living for Americans. Membership is open to chairmen, CEOs, and presidents of companies with at least $25 million in annual revenues. The group focuses on federal fiscal policy, litigation and regulatory reform, international trade, and education. ABC publishes reports on international competitiveness, tax reform, capital costs, and savings and consumption. The group was founded in 1981 by Arthur Levitt, Jr., former chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
