Plot

This video is part of a series that examines the conflicts the United States found itself in from World War I onward, and how they affected the policies and philosophy of the country. In this episode, the subject is the American entry into World War II. The United States had been in heated debate over the part it should take in the world conflict. But differing opinions were set aside when the Japanese bombed American ships at Pearl Harbor. The episode carries the story from there through the Battle at Midway.
