Plot

This series offers a look at several milestones in the nation's history, viewed from the perspective of a child. To help children understand the events of the Civil War, Jack Cliotti, historian, utilizes actual clothes, weapons, and other objects from the Civil War era. In American History for Kids: The American Civil War, children try on the clothing and look at photos taken during the war as they learn about the concerns of the opposing sides.
