Plot

Young students will get an idea of the extraordinary courage of the pioneers who blazed the Oregon Trail in this program. Using narration provided by children, and a child's perspective, the series offers dramatizations of actual events occurring in the 19th century. In American History for Kids: The Oregon Trail, a young girl and her family travel from Tennessee to Oregon, braving unknown dangers as they slowly made their way across the country.
