Like any good parent, American Infrastructure provides balance and structure. Through subsidiaries Allan A. Myers and American Infrastructure, the firm provides heavy civil construction services for projects in the Mid-Atlantic. It builds and reconstructs highways, water treatment plants, medical facilities, and shopping centers, and offers site development for homebuilders. Its Independence Construction Materials (ICM) subsidiary supplies aggregates, asphalt, and ready-mixed concrete to its construction companies. The family-run business was established in 1939 as Allan A. Myers and Son, a local hauling company in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
