Plot

A&E documents the murders and trial of one of the most notorious female serial killers in American Justice: Death Row Prostitute -- Aileen Wuornos. Wuornos lived a troubled existence filled with bouts of drug abuse and sexual acting out. Her self-professed hatred of men stemmed from early encounters of abuse. Wuornos' rage would eventually take its toll, exacting the lives of seven men. Posing as a prostitute, Wuornos took her victims to a remote location in her car where she shot them point blank. Her long-term excuse was that they tried to rape her. Damned by the testimony of her lesbian lover, Wuornos' story crumbled in court. She was ultimately convicted and sentenced to death. A&E captures the true story of the making of a killer. ~ Sarah Ing, Rovi
