Plot

A&E profiles one man who took the law into his own hands in American Justice: Vigilante Dad. Ron Bingham and Luella Bingham were not the model citizens in their small Idaho town. They had each served time for rape and the victims included the Binghams' own niece and babysitter. When ex-cop Ken Arrasmith found out his own daughter had also been sexually abused by the couple, he was enraged. He immediately sought help from the local police who told him to investigate the crime on his own. His findings convinced him the Binghams were drug dealers as well. Arrasmith went to the Binghams to confront them and when they refused to cooperate, he shot them both dead. He later claimed they shot first and his excuse was officially self-defense. The same sheriff's department that had dragged its feet during the investigation claimed Arrasmith was on drugs that day and that his rage was misplaced. A&E searches for answer in the case of the parental payback. ~ Sarah Ing, Rovi
