Plot

This film is one in a three-part series that chronicles the lives and times of three great American heroes: George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and General Ulysses S. Grant. This volume covers Abraham Lincoln, who many consider America's greatest president. Credited with preserving the Union of the United States during the Civil War, Lincoln was a complex figure. Historians present little-known facets of his character, as well as the better-known facts of his humble log cabin beginnings and his quest for an end to slavery.
