The company's Health Safety and Monitoring Services (HSMS) unit markets remote patient monitoring systems, including personal emergency response systems, health management and medication management systems, and safety monitoring systems. Its Telephony Based Communication Services (TBCS) unit provides telephone answering services and operates clinical trial recruitment call centers. In late 2011 the private British company, Tunstall Healthcare Group, announced plans to acquire AMAC for an estimated $82 million.
