American veterinary specialty boards

The American Veterinary Boards and American Veterinary Colleges which conduct examinations and award diplomas of competence in veterinary professional specialties to graduate veterinarians. Passing the examinations is known colloquially as ‘getting your boards’ and is one of the most highly prized qualifications in the veterinary world. See also american veterinary colleges.
