Plot

This film is about the American intervention in 1983, during the attempted takeover by communists on the small island state of Grenada. President Ronald Reagan ordered the invasion of Grenada by some 2,000 U.S. troops to protect the 1,000 American citizens who were living on the island, mainly in the capital city of St. George. The larger picture included a check of Cuban power; Fidel Castro had infiltrated Grenada's government with a communist agenda. Live film footage shows how Army Rangers, Marine infrantry units, and Navy SEALS used unconventional warfare tactics to secure the stability of the government. ~ Rose of Sharon Winter, Rovi
