Ames Nowell State Park is a 700+ acre park primarily used for boating and fishing.
Features of the park include the man-made Cleveland Pond. Development of a picnic area, ball field, and walking trails are planned.
The park is managed from the ranger station at Wompatuck State Park during off season. From 15 May to 12 September it is managed by a Forest and Park Supervisor I.
