Amy Wohl is an IT Industry Analyst who has been observing, commenting on and writing about technology since the mid-seventies. She started out becoming an expert in word processing, office automation, and collaboration, but that seems several lifetimes ago.

Today, Amy's consulting practice, Wohl Associates, specializes in the commercialization of new technology and she teaches a graduate level course on the subject. This means she can frequently be found looking at new technology areas and trying to figure out when and if they are going to go mainstream and what is required to make the new market work.
