Plot

In American Journey: Lyndon Johnson's Great Society?, host Charles Wheeler examines the group of programs called "The Great Society," that meant to improve life for Americans. Wheeler casts a critical eye on the programs, and some of the people responsible for administering them add their comments. These programs include Medicare and Medicaid, civil rights, unemployment, and environmental programs.
