'An die Engel'

‘An die Engel’, a poem by H. Heine, included in the section Lamentationen of the Romanzero. No. 15 in the subdivision Lazarus, it begins ‘Das ist der böse Thanatos’. Its subject is the compassion of the dying man for his wife.
