Plot
In this series of programs, the histories of 21 ancient tribes are documented, with re-enactments of critical events and animated maps of their territories. The shows are filmed on-site, and ruins of the civilizations or their locations provide a backdrop to the narratives. Information is clearly presented, with artifacts and art of the tribes also shown. In Ancient Tribes: The Romans, the rise of Rome is examined, from its origins to its collapse.
