Plot

Wild action footage, multiple-angle camerawork, and slow-motion replays offer viewers a dramatic look at race car crashes and spectacular accidents that the participants, amazingly, survived. Drivers walk away from flaming wrecks or heaps of crumpled metal with happily disproportionate injuries such as bruises, burns, concussions, or small fractures. Luck is a major element in these memorable escapes, but credit is also due to safety engineering and the skills of rescue squads.
