The Andean Flicker (Colaptes rupicola) is a South American species of woodpecker. It is found in grassland, shrubland and Polylepis woodland at altitudes of 2,000–5,000 metres (6,600–16,000 ft) in the Andes from southern Ecuador to northern Chile and northwestern Argentina. Together with the Campo Flicker and Ground Woodpecker, it is the only largely terrestrial woodpecker.
