Andre Emmett (born August 27, 1982 in Dallas, Texas) is an American professional basketball player currently playing for Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut in the Lebanese Basketball League. He is a 6'5" shooting guard/small forward.

Emmett played college basketball for Bob Knight at Texas Tech University. He is currently the Red Raiders' all-time leading scorer.[1]

The Seattle SuperSonics selected him as the 35th overall pick of the 2004 NBA Draft before trading him to the Memphis Grizzlies, for whom he appeared in eight games during his rookie season before being traded to the Miami Heat in the 2005 offseason as part of the deal that sent Eddie Jones to the Grizzlies in exchange for Jason Williams and James Posey. He played for the Lietuvos Rytas in the Lithuanian league from the start of 2006-2007. After one month Emmett signed contract with the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

In December 2007, he signed with the Belgacom Liege where he finished best scorer (23.9 ppg) of the Belgian championship. After a single season in Belgium, he participated in the NBA Summer League with Orlando Magic before signing a 10-day try-out contract with the Philadelphia 76ers which was not renewed. In October, he joined the French team Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez.

He later played with the Chinese team Shandong Lions. On March 7, 2010, he scored a CBA-record 71 points in a game against Jiangsu Dragons.[2]

Emmett played for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Summer League in 2010.[3] In December 2010 he signed with Fujian Xunxing in China.[4]

In March 2011, Emmett signed with the Reno Bighorns. He was signed by the New Jersey Nets to a ten-day contract on February 14, 2012.[5]

In April 2012, he was signed by Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut in the Lebanese Basketball League.
