Andrea Robinson (born 1964) (aka Andrea Immer and Andrea Immer Robinson) is Dean of Wine Studies at the French Culinary Institute, where she graduated with honors from its professional culinary program, a master sommelier, and a chef. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, she is one of only 14 women in the world who have been made Master Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers. She was named the James Beard Foundation Wine and Spirits Professional of the Year in 2002.

Career

Robinson has written four books on wine, has written columns for several magazines, has appeared in hundreds of television shows dedicated to wine and cooking, and is the host of Simply Wine, With Andrea Immer which airs on Fine Living and Pairings with Andrea which is shown on the Food Network. She has also been a beverage consultant to Starwood Hotels.

As an internationally recognized wine expert, she was a judge in The Judgment of Paris 30th Anniversary on the 30th anniversary of the original Judgment of Paris wine tasting.
