Andrea K. Tantaros ( Greek: Ανδρέα Κ. Τάνταρος, born December 30, 1978) is an American political analyst and commentator, who is currently one of several rotating co-hosts on The Five on Fox News Channel at 5 pm EST[1]. Tantaros also appears regularly on the Fox Business Channel, and she writes a weekly (Thursday) column for the New York Daily News newspaper and Newsmax magazine.[2][3]

Andrea K. Tantaros was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 30 December 1978 to an immigrant Greek family. As a teenager, she worked as a waitress in her family's restaurant.[4]
A 1997 graduate of Parkland High School[5], Tantaros then attended Lehigh University (2001 graduate), where she majored in Journalism and French, as well as wrote political commentary for Lehigh's college newspaper.[6] Tantaros pursued post-undergraduate studies at The Université de Paris in France.[2] She is proficient in Spanish, French and Greek.[3] Tantaros lives in New York City.[3]
Tantaros lived in the Washington, D.C. area from 2003-2005. She worked on Capitol Hill, where she served as Press Secretary to Republican Leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has worked on political campaigns for former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld, District Attorney Jeanine Pirro and Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Thomas Reynolds. During her time with House Leadership, Tantaros was responsible for helping craft and execute the media strategy for the Republican majority. Tantaros also worked at CNN's Crossfire, for former Reagan pollster Richard Wirthlin, and as Deputy Press Secretary to then Congressman, and now Senator, Pat Toomey.[7]
Moving to New York City in 2005, she is Vice President at a public affairs firm, Sloane and Co. in Manhattan.[2] Prior to this position, she started Andrea Tantaros Media which provided crisis management and media strategy consulting Fortune 500 companies and political campaigns.[8]
Tantaros joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in April 2010 as a political contributor.[8] She has appeared on Fox, CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC[2] and is currently a co-host on The Five on Fox News.[9] She is represented by the William Morris agency.[10]
