Andreas J. Köstenberger

Andreas J. Köstenberger is the Director of Ph.D. Studies and Senior Professor of New Testament and Biblical Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is also editor of the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS) and founder of Biblical Foundations, an organization with the aim of "restore the biblical foundations for the family, the church, and society".^[1]

Köstenberger holds doctorates awarded by Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) and the Vienna University of Economics. His publications include the a recent book entitled, "Excellence" and a commentary on John in the Baker Exegetical Commentary Series, and God, Marriage, and Family. Also with Peter O'Brien, he wrote Salvation to the Ends of the Earth, and The Book Study Concordance with Raymond Bouchoc; and Excellence, the Character of God and the Pursuit of Scholarly Virtue (2011, Crossway).
