Andrew Cogliano (born June 14, 1987, in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian ice hockey player. He is 5 ft 10 in tall, weighs 180 lb, shoots left and plays forward. He attended St. Michael's College School and played for the St. Michael's Buzzers hockey team.
Cogliano was drafted in the first round, 25th overall, by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
On May 3, 2007, Cogliano signed his first professional contract with the Oilers and played his first NHL game on October 4, 2007 and had an assist against the San Jose Sharks. He scored his first NHL goal in a 4-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on October 8, 2007.
