Andrew Grayham Doe also known as "AGD," was born September 6, 1955 in Farnham in Surrey, is a rock music researcher most noted for being a Beach Boys historian and author.[citation needed]

Initially writing for the long-running UK Beach Boys fanzine Beach Boys Stomp (founded June 1977), he eventually contributed to almost all the major fan publications to date. .[citation needed] In 1997, collaborating with noted UK rock journalist John Tobler, he authored The Complete Guide To The Music Of The Beach Boys, a book updated in 2004 as Brian Wilson & The Beach Boys: The Complete Guide To Their Music. .[citation needed] He also provided the liner notes for the 2000 reissue of The Beach Boys albums Keepin' the Summer Alive and The Beach Boys. .[citation needed] He has also contributed towards the research of other Beach Boys archive releases, most notably the 1997 Pet Sounds Sessions 4CD box set, and maintains an extensive Beach Boys research website. In collaboration with Tobler, since 1981 he has also written or researched books on such diverse artists as The Doors, The Carpenters, The Clash, ABBA and Adam and the Ants.[citation needed]
