Biography

French actor Andrex began performing in music halls and operettas in his native Marseilles. He was spotted by Marcel Pagnol who had him play a pimp in his drama Angele. Following that Andrex became a popular character actor in many French films where he was typically cast as a petty criminal. He primarily worked during the '30s and '40s.
