Andries Bekker (born 5 December 1983 in Cape Town, South Africa) is a South African rugby union player for the Springbok rugby team as well as Western Province in the Currie Cup and the Stormers franchise in the Super 14.

Andries was a slow starter, playing for De Kuilen Highschool as a junior, before going on to play for Paul Roos Gymnasium 5th team and soon was given the name "Drekker". However, the young lock showed great potential. Bekker is a young lock and has already burst into the international scene with some stellar performances. He is the son of Springbok legend Hennie Bekker who was also a lock.

Andries only got his chance during the 2008 Tri Nations Series after the injury of veteran Bakkies Botha and added a new dimension to the Springboks with his large 6'10 (2.08 metres) 123 kg frame which assists him when bustling down the midfield.

Andries currently plays for the Stormers who are based in Cape Town.
