Andronicus

Bible Guide: Andronicus

A Christian of the congregation of Rome to whom Paul sent greetings along with Junia. Paul mentions them as "my kinsmen and my fellow prisoners" ("kinsmen" may simply mean "fellow-countrymen"). Like Paul, Andronicus had suffered imprisonment, and was now "of note among the apostles". He had become a Christian prior to Paul.
