(b Lwów, 9 Sept 1921; d there, 8 Aug 1990). Polish composer. He studied with Malawski (1945-51) and taught at the conservatories of Kraków and Warsaw. His works, following a development parallel to Lutosławski's, include orchestral and instrumental pieces, electronic music and songs; later works are characterized by craftsmanship and animated wit.
Andrzej Dobrowolski (September 9, 1921 in Lwów, Poland [now Lviv. Ukraine] – 8 August 1990 in Graz, Austria) was a Polish composer and teacher.
Dobrowolski was one of the first Polish composers to concentrate on music for tape, and one of the first to pioneer the combination of pre-recorded tape and live performers.[1]
