Andrew "Andy" Scott (born 30 June 1949, in Wrexham, Wales) is a British musician and composer. He was a guitarist, vocalist, and synthesizer player in the band Sweet.

Scott auditioned for The Sweet after an audition in front of the other three members and Chinn and Chapman, the group's managers. He was one of the last guitarists to audition. According to Steve Priest's Autobiography "Are You Ready Steve", Scott turned up looking very untidy, with long hair and scruffy clothes. He plugged his guitar in and immediately blew the fuse on the amp. He eventually performed his piece and the members of the band thought he should join The Sweet, much to Chinn and Chapman's disgust. They eventually gave in and Scott was allowed to join the band.

Andy Scott has released a small selection of solo singles, including the Sweet song "Lady Starlight".

He continues to perform in 'Andy Scott's Sweet'.
