Andy Scott-Lee (born Robert Andrew James Scott-Lee[1] on 29 March 1980) is a Welsh pop star, who is an ex-member of the group 3SL. After the group broke up, he appeared in the second series of Pop Idol, making it to the final seven.
In 2005, he took part in the qualifying rounds to represent the United Kingdom in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, where he was up against, Javine, Katie Price, Tricolore and Gina G. He sang "Guardian Angel" a song composed by Lee Ryan (from the boy band Blue) and Rob Persaud. Andy came third.
Scott-Lee's estranged wife is the former Liberty X member, Michelle Heaton. They announced their split on 05 June 2008. He is the brother of the former Steps singer Lisa Scott-Lee. He has also been seen as part of his sister's MTV reality TV show Totally Scott-Lee.
Andy appeared as a celebrity guest on ITV's The Mint. He appeared on the BBC programme "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" on 30 January 2008. He appeared on the Irish singing show ( titled You're A Star) on 10 February 2008.
He currently resides in the UK. He will release his official self titled debut album in 2008.
In 2009, he appeared on 'Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway' in their sketch 'Escape from Takeaway Prison'.
