Plot

Angela Davis was a black American activist in the 1960s and '70s. Her views were sufficiently leftist and radical to worry the U.S. government, which kept close tabs on her. She was imprisoned for allegedly having provided Black Panther George Jackson with the gun used in his courtroom escape effort. This French documentary explores her life and the trial which resulted in her imprisonment. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi
