Angela Derochie (born November 4, 1973 in Trenton, Ontario) was a Canadian figure skater. She competed in ladies singles and won the gold medal at the 1998 Canadian Figure Skating Championships. Canada was originally set to have one spot at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, however 1997 Canadian Champion Susan Humphreys withdrew from the 1997 World Figure Skating Championships effectively relinquishing the Olympic spot for Canada. Angela would been the recipient of that Olympic spot. She went on to the World Championships later that year and finished 20th. She represented the Gloucester Skating Club in Ottawa, Ontario and trained at the Canadian Academy of Skating Arts. She was coached by Olympic coach Peter Dunfield who coached 1988 Olympic Silver medalist Elizabeth Manley. She is now a coach herself in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
