Angelica (Handel: Orlando). Soprano. Queen of Cathay, in love with Medoro whom she now prefers to Orlando. Orlando is so distressed he loses his reason, but with the help of the magician it is all resolved and Orlando blesses Angelica and Medoro. Created (1733) Anna Maria Strada del Pò.
