Anglo-American Arcadia Conference
A conference begun on December 22, 1941, in Washington, D.C., to address issues of World War II. It was held between British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It established the Anglo-American Combined Chiefs of Staff. On January 1, 1942, during the conference, the Allies signed the Declaration of the United Nations.
