Angrignon Park
Angrignon Park (French: 'Parc Angrignon' is a large park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located in the borough of Le Sud-Ouest. Angrignon Park has a total area of 97 hectares.
The park is named for Jean-Baptiste Angrignon (1875-1948) a long time city councillor in Côte Saint-Paul.
The park was inspired by the design of 19th century English gardens. The park contains 20,000 trees, winding paths and a pond surrounded by cattails.
Angrignon Farm
Angrignon Farm (French: Ferme Angrignon) is a petting zoo located in Angrignon Park just outside the Angrignon subway station. Established in 1990[1] and administered by the Montreal Botanical Garden[2], it is home to over 20 species of farm animal.
The farm is currently closed and its reopening is uncertain: there is no plan to reopen it in 2011[3].
