Plot

In this series of six films, young children are introduced to families of animals. In each episode, the habits, foods, and life cycles of the creatures are explained and shown. In Animal Families for Children: The Frog/The Snail/The Turtle, kids will learn how a tadpole becomes a frog, and see steps leading to the remarkable change. Details of the nocturnal garden snail are revealed in close-ups. Female sea turtles lay eggs in nests dug into sandy beaches, and when the baby turtles hatch, they head unerringly for the water. The programs are recommended for grades one through five. ~ Alice Day, All Movie Guide
