Plot

David Hand was a top animator for Disney who worked as supervising director on such classics as Bambi and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs before relocating to England in the early 1940s, where he made a series of cartoons for the Rank studios entitled Animaland. Most of the Animaland cartoons were thought to be lost forever following the closing of Rank's facilities, but nine of Hand's Animaland shorts were recently rediscovered, and they appear in beautifully restored form on this video.
